Welcome traveler, to In the Fade, an RPG shrine database. While there are several similar sites out there, this one has been around for a considerable amount of time. Not only that, but instead of listing just sites from certian games, like Final Fantasy or gaming-related sites in general, In the Fade is dedicated in listing high-quality character shrines dedicated to any RPG game. Please feel free to take a look at all the various shrines listed here. If you have one, why not take a moment and submit it! I'd love to see more wonderful sites listed here.

Navigation through the site can be found at the very top. This layout design features some official art of Rydia from the SquareEnix classic, Final Fantasy IV, the DS version in particular. This site is best viewed in Mozilla Firefox and other modern browsers at a screen resolution of 800x600 or higher. Those of you who have been visiting In the Fade for some years now might notice that things around here have changed a bit. That's because I finally was able to convert the directory into a database -- there's no longer a need to list sites on hiatus or dead links, because they're all stored in a 'pending' database, and they will be added back once the sites are active again. This is great, because I can keep these links on file for a much longer period of time, since they won't be wasting any visible space! Also, there is no need to indicate new sites, since you can always view the most recently added sites by looking at the directory statistics.

October 2nd, 2010: After a long time of being on a previous host with several issues, In The Fade is now working properly again. If you've had difficulty submitting a form, you can do so now! Also, another link check was performed today!
